… well, color-consulted.
Actually, the consultation happened a few years ago and I recount the experience — as well as the positive, long-lasting results — in my guest post for Indigo Tones, a personal color analysis and consulting resource. Kerry Jones, the owner of Indigo Tones, is passionate about putting together people with their most flattering color palette.
I’ve learned a lot both during the color analysis (during a girl’s weekend) and since. For example, about why small prints and worn denim can pass for my colors, about stocking up on basics when “my” colors are on trend, and about learning how to adapt my muted Soft Summer-ness to NYC living where black seems to be a law.
Kerry has been at the color game for decades — and her passion for what she does is infectious. She travels around the country to do analysis — on her Indigo Tones website she sells fashion, accessories, and make-up aligned with the colors she recommends. You can learn more about Kerry, her process, the services she offers — and many testimonials — here.
And, again, read the post for my personal insights into the process and the results — even about how the colors seeped their way into my “brand” (as in the website screenshots, below).
