I debated whether or not to blog this … Should I wait? Is semi-finalist enough of a deal when I consider myself a “pro”?
The thing is, this perfectionist is learning that if I don’t acknowledge and appreciate what’s good now, it’s harder to maintain the positive attitude that attracts the more and better. In a creative career, there’s always more work to do, the next hill to climb — and the good must be absorbed and noted as such.
So I’m celebrating every rung on the winning ladder, cheering myself for having gotten this far. So today — YAY! — for The Jane Austen Syndrome achieving semi-finalist status in the Stage 32 Grown Up Movies Screenplay Contest.
